I made this card for my husband to send to his mother. I know we are a week and a half late. She will appreciate it anyway:) It got mailed today with a Randy Travis CD that Bobby made for her and the movie Hotel for Dogs.
Today Inspiration Station http://www.the-inspiration-station.com/index.ivnu had a Fiskars Demonstration from 10-2. It was presented by Fisk-a-teer Kelly Jo. She was showing the new products that are out:)! There was a raffle for a fiskars gift basket which I didn’t win but oh well:) She also gave out little Heidi Grace flower things to every one that was there.
This year I decided to make my own Holiday cards and envelopes. I am doing Holiday to be politically correct kind of. there are too many people that celebrate too many other holidays. Yesterday I finished the last of the 50 envelopes that I am doing. I am still rattling the card ideas through my head. They will have different variations on colors but the jist will be the same. my main theme on all of it is SNOWFLAKES:)! I figure they are neutral and I love SNOW!
I haven't done cards for a few years as so much has gone on in our lives so I figured that I really should this year. I made these using the Enveloper http://www.crafterscompanion.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=2 ,I used a corner rounder to round the top edge, I used star dust Stickles http://www.rangerink.com/products/prod_decorativeglue_stickles.htm ,I used Scotch Quick Dry Adhesive, Fiskars Embossing Plate Set http://www.fiskarscrafts.com/tools/t_embossingset-seasons.aspx
This is my first attempt at cutting vinyl on my cricut. it took my a couple of tries to get everything exactly the way that I wanted it but here we are:) I am proud of it! It is a duplicate of one that my sister bought us a year and a half ago from someone after we lost Rainer to cancer. The original one is on our apartment window overlooking our bedroom window watching over us at all times. this one is now on the truck window.
This is the Easter Basket that I gave my grandmother when she came to visit from Canada! She liked it!:)
Two of my aunts came down from Canada for the Easter Holiday weekend and brought my grandmother with them. I made them each a basket and told them they could fight over who got to have which one. They loved them:)!
